Mermaid Life

If you've been looking closely at my travel photos, if I am ever in a location with water, I always take photos of it. Water is my favorite element, if I was to be a character in The Last Airbender, I would be a water bender. My favorite color is blue, I love to swim, I love to splash around..just water is my favorite and I can't get enough.
Obviously I like beaches...but what I like even more are waterfalls. Especially waterfalls that I can swim in. I was blessed by the presence of an amazing soul that goes by the name of Amy, and she shared with me a swimming spot in Jeju with a waterfall.
The waterfall is near Donnaeko (돈내코) and was  about half an hour away from Seogwipo by bus.      The water was arctic temp, and I couldn't help but feel like this is how arctic mermaids lived. I hiked up stream a bit where there were less people and found a rock, that when the sun came from behind the clouds, would be basked in sunlight and one couldn't help but imagine a choir harmonizing when I spotted it. I laid my body on top of it like a walrus and basked. Oh did I bask. My arms and legs went into the water and became so numb that it took about 30 minutes of walking in the sun to get feeling back. But a beautiful place like that where, I just knew in another life I was a mermaid, I was feeling myself and took many many many photos. So here is a photo series of me in Donnaeko being a mermaid. :)
