I have been very blessed with many traveling opportunities in my life. One year I was given a chance to travel to Japan and finally!! I have been wishing to visit Japan ever since I was young. Shibuya 101, where some of my favorite Manga scenes happened, all the way to the famous shopping streets in Osaka. This trip happened in 2015 and looking back at the photos I took, I realized I have improved on taking photos tremendously. Don't judge me to harshly. A girl's still learning!

Our original plans for Iceland did not include Jökulsárlón, even after I knew that there would be gigantic icebergs spotting the lake which were things I have only ever dreamed about. This particular day, however, our plans were to snorkel between the North American and European tectonic plates. Iceland decided to have a beautiful snow filled blizzard instead, where we received a phone call explaining the circumstances, therefore, leaving us with a free afternoon. We were staying in Reykjavik, and decided 10 hours was well worth seeing where arctic mermaids live. It took five hours to get there and fives hours back and boy...it was stunning. Jökulsárlón seems to be untouched by man. Icebergs filled the lake while bouncing off blue light making them look like aquamarine stones. Visiting Jökulsárlón made me realize even more how precious mother nature is and how we must make efforts to preserve what she has given us. I really hope that future generations will be able to visit and feel the awe and amazement I was able to when I came.

The west coast has always been a dreamy beach shore for us east coasters. Everyone around me growing up would regularly make comments about moving to California. Fast forward to a few years ago and Jonathan did exactly that while I was still in school. Not one to miss a golden opportunity for meandering around, I visited as much as possible. This includes my latest and possibly last trip before moving to Korea.
Jonathan plus a few of my favorite ladies decided to hit up Los Angeles and judge whether or not it lives up to its hype. We weren't disappointed from experiencing particular bar scenes from speakeasies to multi-level bars, driving along the breathtakingly beautiful highway 1, to playing the most intensified game of Janga ever known to mankind. This trip was the epitome of great times and memories. I was kind of bad and didn't take as many photos as I should've. Oops. Hey! We all learn from our mistakes though.
